A Brief Overview The Genetic Counseling Associate (GCA) plays an essential role in supporting genetic counselors and medical geneticists in delivering high-quality care to patients across the lifespan. This position involves working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, across multiple clinical sites. The GCA contributes significantly to the efficiency and effectiveness of the genetics care team by ensuring accurate and timely information is available and effectively communicated across the care team.
