CACI is seeking an experienced Generator Mechanic, Journeyman to support power generation and expeditionary infrastructure operations across the Indo-Pacific. The Generator Mechanic, Journeyman serves as CACI's technical professional responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting tactical and commercial power generation equipment supporting logistics, mission support, facilities, Joint Theater Distribution Centers (JTDCs), Intermediate Staging Bases (ISBs), communications systems, and expeditionary operations. Reporting directly to the Facilities Operations Manager, this position ensures reliable electrical power generation supporting mission-critical Government operations in fixed and deployed environments. The Generator Mechanic works closely with Government stakeholders, electrical engineers, electricians, utilities specialists, facilities managers, communications personnel, logistics planners, equipment manufacturers, and mission partners to maintain generators, transfer switches, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, and associated electrical distribution equipment. This position contributes to successful program execution by maximizing equipment availability, improving infrastructure reliability, and ensuring uninterrupted power support throughout the Indo-Pacific theater.
