Journeyman Diesel Generator Technician
About The Position

We have the only state-approved apprenticeship program for generator technicians. We need an experienced, independent, and motivated Diesel Generator Technician for our Martinez, CA facility with at least 6 years of relevant work history. Qualified candidates must have a valid CA driver's license and clean driving record, pass a pre-employment background, physical, and drug screening, and be available to work overtime, as needed. Responsibilities
- Complete CD & Power Training as needed for this position.
- Perform jobs as assigned by the Service Writer with minimal supervision.
- Fulfill paperwork requirements.
- Assist the supervisor with bidding jobs.
- Meet or exceed bid labor times 95% of the time.
- Lead by example in attitude, safety, productivity, and cleanliness.
- Ability to take initiative.
- Perform all aspects of repairs, services, and maintenance on various generators.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Be a “team player”.
