About The Position

This role reports to the Manager of SEO and Web and is solely focused on Ncontracts' presence across AI-powered search platforms. That means ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and whatever comes next. You'll own the tools, the tracking, the content strategy inputs, and the outreach efforts that drive citation share and brand visibility in AI-generated answers. AEO and GEO are still maturing disciplines, so this role rewards people who are curious, structured in how they experiment, and willing to build processes that don't fully exist yet.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in SEO, content strategy, digital marketing, or a closely related field
  • Direct familiarity with AI search platforms and how they surface citations, whether through Profound, manual prompt testing, or both
  • Structured thinker who can build a tracking and testing process from scratch and stick to it
  • Strong written communication, capable of translating platform behavior into clear content recommendations
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with content, product marketing, and design teams

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on Profound experience and familiarity with GEO/AEO measurement workflows
  • Experience building automations or monitoring agents using n8n, Zapier, or API integrations
  • Background in traditional SEO, especially on-page optimization and off-page strategy
  • Familiarity with GA4 and GSC for understanding how AI search traffic intersects with organic
  • Basic JavaScript or comfort reading technical documentation

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and grow Ncontracts' brand and product visibility across LLM-powered platforms including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and emerging entrants using Profound
  • Build and maintain per-platform prompt libraries across all product categories to systematically test and track citation performance
  • Analyze citation share data to identify where we are and are not appearing, and build a prioritized action plan to close gaps
  • Develop and refine buyer persona query sets that reflect how target audiences actually search using AI tools
  • Track competitor citation share across platforms and surface trends and gaps to the Manager and broader marketing team
  • Build automated monitoring for competitor visibility tracking and citation anomaly detection
  • Work with the content team to develop and iterate on GEO/AEO content guidance, grounded in what the platforms are actually citing
  • Identify specific content gaps where Ncontracts is not being cited and recommend page-level or net-new content to fill them
  • Partner with off-page and link building efforts to align outreach targeting with citation gap priorities
  • Inform product marketing on how AI platforms describe and position Ncontracts relative to competitors
  • Develop frameworks and playbooks the broader team can use to write content optimized for AI citation
  • Stay current on how major AI search platforms handle citations, update their models, and change their answer behavior
  • Run structured experiments to test what content types, formats, formats, and sources drive citation performance
  • Document findings and build a running knowledge base of what works, what does not, and why
  • Evaluate new platforms and tools as the AI search landscape evolves and bring recommendations to the Manager
  • Share platform updates and findings with the broader marketing team on a regular cadence
  • Own Profound reporting for AI search visibility metrics, tracked per platform and per product category
  • Build and maintain dashboards that make AI search performance visible and actionable for the Manager and marketing leadership
  • Own keyword and prompt-level visibility tracking across AI platforms
  • Contribute to broader marketing reporting by surfacing AI search trends and their relationship to organic and pipeline performance
