About The Position

This role involves a wide range of Human Resources and administrative duties. The Generalist will prepare paperwork, schedule and facilitate the new hire onboarding process, and recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants. They will collaborate with departmental managers to understand skill requirements for open positions, post jobs, and conduct interviews. The position also assists in all areas of the Human Resources department, handles employment-related inquiries, and ensures new hire paperwork is completed. General clerical duties such as copying, faxing, and filing are also part of the responsibilities. Confidentiality is paramount, and attendance at all mandatory meetings is required. Specific credentials (UA and BAC) must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of clerical/administrative experience in a similar sized organization.
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent phone etiquette.
  • Proficient with MS Office.
  • Good written communication skills.
  • Previous Human Resources experience is required.
  • Must be able to obtain UA and BAC credentials within 90 days of hire.
  • Must be able to demonstrate US work authorization during the employment verification process.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Test.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
  • Must be 18 at time of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all other duties assigned.
