Generalist Open Rank– Senior Instructor-Professor
About The Position
The Division of Academic Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Senior Instructor or above. The successful candidate will serve as a generalist in obstetrics and gynecology, providing comprehensive clinical care, including inpatient and outpatient services, as well as gynecologic surgery. Responsibilities include participation in night, weekend, & holiday call schedules to meet the division's needs. This role emphasizes clinical excellence while also contributing to the teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows in a dynamic academic environment.
Requirements
- Board-eligible OBGYN (for Senior Instructor)
- Board-certified OBGYN (for Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor)
- Colorado Medical License
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Meets criteria for the respective rank at the University of Colorado School of Medicine
- 2-4 years of clinical OBGYN experience post-residency (for Assistant Professor)
- 5-7 years of clinical OBGYN experience (for Associate Professor)
- Ten (10) years or more of clinical OBGYN experience (for Professor)
- 5-7 years of leadership experience in clinical operations (for Professor)
- Experience as a clinical educator (for Professor)
Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive clinical care, including inpatient and outpatient services, as well as gynecologic surgery.
- Participation in night, weekend, & holiday call schedules to meet the division's needs.
- Contributing to the teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows.
