Requirements

2 years of HR Generalist or 4 years of HR Administrator experience required.
Has broad knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within HR.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
Able to prioritize requests and tasks appropriately and escalate concerns to appropriate level.
Flexibility to adjust work schedule to support 24/7 facility.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
Food manufacturing and/ or plant HR experience preferred.
PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides a wide range of HR support including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and training.
Ensures HR policies and procedures are followed, evaluates their effectiveness, and proposes improvements.
Provides day-to-day guidance and interpretation to leadership.
Works with leaders and team members to analyze and improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Manages and resolves employee relations issues, addresses concerns and complaints.
May prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies.
Develops partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
