About The Position

Five Below is hiring a seasonal General Warehouse associate for its Ecommerce operation. The role may include performing duties as a container unloader, picker, shipping divert worker, or other warehouse positions. Associates handle and move merchandise, fulfill store orders, prepare and move pallets, use RF equipment as required, and keep facility equipment and materials orderly. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with overtime as needed. The position is hourly and starts at $17.50.

Requirements

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; calculator use is helpful.
Ability to understand and follow written or oral instructions using common sense.
Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently while following prescribed work methods.
Ability to work flexible hours and an alternate shift for an extended period with limited notice.
Ability to stand, stoop, lift, and perform manual dexterity tasks; remain on feet for the entire shift.
Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to climb staircases and perform standing work on an elevated platform.
Ability to work in cold temperatures in winter and hot temperatures in summer.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
One year of warehouse experience (preferred).
Forklift, pallet rider, or manual pallet jack experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

Load and unload shipments safely and move products to assigned locations or containers.
Stack and store merchandise in appropriate areas.
Pick store orders for shipment and verify the correct number and type of products are loaded and shipped.
Place boxes on pallets or conveyor belts.
Pick freight from pallets using pick labels.
Stack pallets with products from shipping divert lanes.
Build and shrink-wrap pallets.
Move pallets with a pallet jack.
Use an RF gun for picking, receiving, put-away, replenishment, and loading functions as required.
Maintain facility equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
Perform additional assigned duties and support other departments as needed.
