About The Position

The General Warehouse Worker unwraps, sorts, stacks, and labels products while following regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. The position works Monday through Thursday from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m., at a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. Work may take place in cold storage temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C or dry storage temperatures up to 100°F/37°C, with company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear as applicable. The role requires lifting at least 40 pounds, and may involve varying noise levels, sometimes loud.

Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage sites or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds/18 kilograms; required weight may be greater depending on the facility.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Comfort working with varying noise levels, which can sometimes be loud.

Responsibilities

• Pack, seal, and label materials and pallets for storage and/or shipping.
• Manually load and unload products on and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Wrap pallets using a wrap machine.
• Document and report product or material damage and other issues to a supervisor, and follow instructions to correct problems.
• Operate manual pallet jack equipment.
• Clean and organize the warehouse at the end of the shift.
• Unwrap, sort, stack, and label products while following applicable safety standards, policies, and procedures.
