About The Position

The General Warehouse Worker unwraps, sorts, stacks, labels, packs, and prepares products and materials for storage or shipment while following regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. The role includes manually loading and unloading products, wrapping pallets, reporting product or material issues, operating manual pallet jack equipment, and cleaning and organizing the warehouse at the end of the shift. The listed schedule is Monday through Thursday, 4 a.m. to 4 p.m., with flexibility to work other shifts and weekends if needed. The work may take place in cold storage temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C or dry storage temperatures up to 100°F/37°C, with company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear as applicable.

Requirements

Basic math skills.
Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage sites or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kg; the required weight may be greater depending on the facility.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
Comfort working with varying noise levels, which can sometimes be loud.

Responsibilities

Unwrap, sort, stack, and label products while following regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Pack, seal, and label materials and pallets for storage or shipment.
Manually load and unload products on and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
Wrap pallets using a wrap machine.
Document and report damages or other product or material issues to a supervisor and follow instructions to correct them.
Operate manual pallet jack equipment.
Clean and organize the warehouse at the end of the shift.
