About The Position

This position involves washing pots, pans, dishes, and utensils using manual methods or equipment like dish machines or whirlpool sinks. The role also includes restocking kitchenware, managing waste, monitoring dish machine temperatures and sanitizer concentrations, and performing general cleaning duties. Additionally, the position may involve snow removal, fire extinguisher checks, and assisting with food preparation as needed. The job requires the use of commercial-strength cleaning chemicals and may involve operating a floor machine.

Responsibilities

Wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils manually or with equipment such as dish machines or whirlpool sink.
Restocks pots, pans, dish ware and utensils in customer areas and back of the house.
Removes trash and cardboard from back of the house and customer areas.
Log temperatures of dish machines.
Test the concentration of dishwasher sanitizing agents in sinks.
Cleans floors, mats, equipment and work surfaces.
May use a floor machine.
Maintains cleanliness and organization of the chemical storage and mop room.
Uses commercial strength chemicals to clean, sanitize and polish.
Shovels snow and salts doorways and loading dock entrances.
Reviews fire extinguishers monthly for charging and usability.
Assists in other areas with food preparation duties as needed.
Any duties assigned based on business needs.
