About The Position

This role is responsible for operating and maintaining the palletizing line, ensuring boxes are properly prepared, taped, and stacked. The position also involves assisting with rework, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and prioritizing safety. The individual will report any unusual or unsafe conditions to management immediately and perform other duties as assigned to maintain departmental operations. A key responsibility is understanding and implementing safety procedures through education, training, and the use of protective equipment.

Requirements

  • Ability to properly turn on and off taper.
  • Ability to set up the line.
  • Ability to fold boxes into shape.
  • Ability to place inner liner in box.
  • Ability to close box and feed it into the taper.
  • Ability to stack boxes according to stacking pattern.
  • Ability to check for proper code date application.
  • Ability to assist in rework removal.
  • Knowledge of GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Ability to report unusual activities.
  • Ability to work in a safe manner.
  • Ability to report unsafe conditions.
  • Understanding of safety procedures.
  • Willingness to use protective equipment (as applicable).
  • Adherence to safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.

Responsibilities

  • Properly turn on and off taper, and set-up line.
  • Fold boxes into shape and place inner liner in box.
  • Close box and feed it into the taper.
  • Stack taped boxes according to product stacking patterns.
  • Check to ensure proper code date has been applied.
  • Assist in the removal of any rework.
  • Follow all GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Report any unusual activities in or around the plant to management, ASAP.
  • Work in a safe manner and report any unsafe conditions to management, ASAP.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Understand and place in practice appropriate safety procedures.
  • Achieve safety responsibility through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
