About The Position

Hartford HealthCare's Tallwood Urology and Kidney Institute is seeking a General Urologist to establish state-of-the-art, nationally recognized urologic services at The Hospital of Central CT. The Tallwood Institute is a leading Urology and Kidney care team with physicians who have advanced sub-specialty training and are supported by interdisciplinary medical and surgical specialists. The institute focuses on five system-wide interdisciplinary disease management teams: urologic oncology, pelvic health and urinary incontinence, stones, men’s health, and chronic kidney disease. This role offers the support and resources of a large hospital system combined with the autonomy of a community practice. The position is part of one of the largest Urology groups in New England, with opportunities for research and support from fellowship-trained urologists. Hartford HealthCare is an integrated health system with a strong patient focus, efficiency, and quality performance, operating in an Institute model with multiple specialized Health Institutes.

Requirements

  • Board Certified/Eligible Urology
  • Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the State of Connecticut

Responsibilities

  • Establish state of the art nationally recognized urologic services at The Hospital of Central CT.
  • Provide comprehensive urologic care within the framework of the Tallwood Urology and Kidney Institute's disease management teams.
