About The Position

Skilled Wound Care is hiring General Surgeons in Beaumont, Texas, to provide wound care and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities and other post-acute settings. The position offers clinical autonomy and a weekday schedule without nights, weekends, or call. Physicians perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures, evaluate and treat complex and non-healing wounds, and guide patients through healing using advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols. Comprehensive wound care training is provided; prior wound care experience is not required. The role is available part-time or full-time. Full-time average annual earnings are listed as $250,000–$500,000, with no earning cap as an independent contractor; top performers may earn more through performance bonuses. Compensation is per patient and per procedure, with quarterly bonus programs. Candidates undergo confidential pre-employment DiSC and relevant skills testing. Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited institution.
Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
DEA license, or eligibility to obtain one.
No prior wound care experience is required; comprehensive wound care training is provided.

Responsibilities

Collaborate in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings, following patients through healing.
