About The Position

A thriving healthcare system is seeking a General Surgeon in the Columbus, NE area. This is a full-time, permanent position with a 1:3 call schedule. The surgeon will see a wide range of cases, including wound and gastrointestinal issues, and will have the ability to practice all aspects of general surgery, including trauma, endoscopy, and laparoscopy. The facility features new endoscopy and operating rooms equipped with the da Vinci surgical system, and offers block scheduling for the ORs and support staff in the clinic and OR, including APPs. This position is available due to an upcoming retirement.

• BE/BC - General Surgeon

Responsibilities

• See a wide range of general surgery cases, including wound and gastrointestinal issues.
• Practice all aspects of general surgery, including trauma, endoscopy, and laparoscopy.
• Utilize the da Vinci surgical system.
• Participate in a 1:3 call schedule.
