About The Position

Mercy Medical Center, a proud member of the Prime Healthcare network, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join our growing surgical team in Aurora, Illinois. The ideal candidate will provide a full range of general surgical services, including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency procedures, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and support staff. Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
  • Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery (ABMS or AOA)
  • Current and unrestricted Illinois medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Current DEA registration
  • Excellent interpersonal, clinical, and communication skills
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Interest in becoming a partner in a suburban practice

Responsibilities
