About The Position
Boston Medical Center Health System is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join our growing surgical team at BMC Brighton . This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a community-focused setting while being part of a large, integrated academic health system. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered surgical care across a broad range of general surgery procedures, with opportunities to develop subspecialty interests.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
- Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, equitable care
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of general surgical procedures, including elective and urgent cases
- Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical care
- Participate in shared call coverage including ACS
- Contribute to the educational needs of the surgical residency
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the health system
- Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Contribute to program growth and service line development
