About The Position
We are seeking a Board-Certified General Surgeon to join a growing Elective General Surgery program in Arkansas. This permanent opportunity offers a non-trauma, elective-focused practice, providing a predictable schedule and excellent workâlife balance. The ideal candidate is experienced in a wide range of general surgery procedures and is interested in contributing to program growth and long-term success. Position Details Practice Type: Elective General Surgery Trauma: None Schedule: Flexible scheduling with approximately 183 shifts per year Focus on planned surgical cases and outpatient/inpatient elective procedures
Requirements
- Board Certified in General Surgery
- Active Arkansas medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with endoscopy and EGD procedures required
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of elective general surgery procedures
- Conduct endoscopic procedures, including EGD and colonoscopy
- Participate in the growth and development of the elective surgery program
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of providers and support staff
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered surgical care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
