About The Position

It’s also a short drive from the college towns of Logan and Ogden, home to a variety of cultural events and college sports. About this role: As a General Surgeon at Bear River Clinic and Bear River Valley Hospital, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you’ll join a community‑focused general surgery practice serving a high‑need rural population, offering autonomy, procedural variety, and long‑term stability through a full‑scope general surgery practice with a strong endoscopy component. This is a solo General Surgeon position with the opportunity to collaborate with a larger regional group, as well as the chance to build and grow a robotics program with a surgical robot expected to arrive by the end of the year. 2 days clinic per week Call expectations include 8 days of call built into the base salary, with additional compensation for any excess coverage. Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery
  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • BLS, ACLS certification and DEA
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
  • Endoscopy proficiency required as this community has a significant need for endoscopic services

Nice To Haves

  • Robotic surgery experience or strong interest preferred, with a robotic platform expected to be implemented by the end of the year
