General Surgeon – BMC Brighton Location: Brighton, Massachusetts Organization: Boston Medical Center Health System (BMC) Position Summary Boston Medical Center Health System is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join our growing surgical team at BMC Brighton. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered surgical care across a broad range of general surgery procedures, with opportunities to develop subspecialty interests. Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, equitable care

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of general surgical procedures, including elective and urgent cases
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical care
  • Participate in shared call coverage including ACS
  • Contribute to the educational needs of the surgical residency
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the health system
  • Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • Contribute to program growth and service line development
