Requirements

• 5+ years of experience supervising commercial construction projects
• HVAC, Plumbing, or MEP experience strongly preferred
• Proven success leading field teams and coordinating complex commercial projects
• Strong understanding of scheduling, sequencing, manpower planning, and cost control
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Lead the Jobsite: Direct daily field operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
• Develop and manage project schedules to keep work progressing on time.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors for maximum efficiency.
• Plan work sequencing and proactively resolve field challenges.
• Represent VMG in meetings with owners, general contractors, engineers, and project partners.
• Champion Safety: Promote a culture where safety is everyone's responsibility.
• Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and VMG safety standards.
• Identify and resolve hazards while investigating incidents and near misses.
• Deliver Quality: Ensure installations meet project specifications, code requirements, and VMG quality expectations.
• Monitor workmanship and maintain accountability for project performance.
• Protect company assets, including tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Manage Project Performance: Complete daily reports, timesheets, schedules, and documentation accurately.
• Track labor productivity, project costs, invoices, and subcontractor performance.
• Maintain organized project records from startup through closeout.
• Develop Great Teams: Lead, mentor, and motivate field crews.
• Establish clear expectations and hold teams accountable.
• Foster a collaborative, respectful work environment built on trust and communication.
• Help develop the next generation of field leaders.
