The individual must have knowledge regarding or experience with students with significant emotional and behavioral disabilities, including cognitive delays. Strong behavior management and leadership skills, and the ability to modify curriculum to meet students' needs are required. The individual must be able to differentiate the curriculum and supervise and lead the support staff. Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Schools (TCIS) training and experience with writing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including progress monitoring, is desired. The individual must have or be eligible for appropriate teaching certification upon hire. Regular attendance and dependability are required. Other responsibilities may be assigned. Assignment is subject to change.
