About The Position

ADESA, a Carvana owned company, is seeking a General Sales Manager to lead by example, generate new business, close deals, and develop a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales processes, metrics, and compensation, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships. This role involves recruiting, retaining, and developing Sales Representatives, executing the overall sales strategy, and inspiring the team to achieve sales and performance objectives. The General Sales Manager will contribute to business growth in an innovative atmosphere as a valued member of the ADESA community.

Requirements

  • High School or GED required
  • Two or more years of supervisory experience
  • Successful previous experience as a sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possesses a valid driver’s license
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong multitasking skills along with the ability to adapt to changing work environments
  • Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license and meet corporate driving standards

Nice To Haves

  • College education preferred
  • Automotive experience preferred
