About The Position

Kendall Toyota/Lexus of Anchorage is seeking a motivated and results-driven General Sales Manager to lead its sales team, strengthen dealership performance, and help create an outstanding customer experience. The General Sales Manager will play a key leadership role in driving dealership growth by coaching, mentoring, and supporting the sales team while maintaining a customer-first culture. Kendall is a large, family-owned and operated dealership group in the Pacific Northwest and a premier employer in Anchorage.

Requirements

• Previous automotive sales management experience (required)
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to achieve dealership goals
• Assist sales consultants in closing deals and negotiating vehicle pricing
• Appraise trade-in vehicles and oversee inventory management
• Plan, organize, and direct all dealership sales activities
• Conduct sales meetings, training sessions, and performance coaching
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies, procedures, and industry regulations
• Partner with the service and finance teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
• Monitor sales performance, profitability, and operational efficiency
