Requirements

  • 3+ years of automotive general sales management experience with a proven track record in developing sales staff, managing a sales department and desking and closing deals.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and make critical business decisions.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all dealership sales operations, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Set clear sales goals and develop strategies to achieve new and used vehicle sales targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and train the sales team to enhance performance and customer engagement.
  • Analyze reports, identify business trends, and implement process improvements.
  • Manage showroom, e-commerce, and phone sales traffic effectively.
  • Handle vehicle trade appraisals and manage inventory in collaboration with the General Manager.
  • Oversee negotiations, ensuring transparency and excellent customer service.
  • Monitor budgets, expenses, and profitability for sales operations.
  • Foster a positive work environment, driving employee engagement and development.
