About The Position

The General Relief Operator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the performance of the site's production lines to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and GMP policies. This role involves operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring proper documentation, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education
1+ year related manufacturing operator experience
Proficient in computer software’s including MS office and email
Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.

Nice To Haves

Technical degree or certificate
Fork lift certified
2+ years in a manufacturing operator role

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage the performance of multiple machines, processes, or pieces of equipment.
Ensure proper documentation is maintained for quality and inventory control, including holding records, case samples, and shipping finished products.
Operate and maintain push/pull lifts and forklifts.
Facilitate changeovers, optimize production lines, perform quality checks and audits, meet production schedules, report downtime, and minimize waste.
Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives within operations.
Adhere to good hygiene, safety, quality, and manufacturing practices at all times.
Troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper mechanical operation.
Perform any ad hoc tasks as assigned.
