About The Position

The Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) Department of Diagnostic Radiology is seeking a full-time board-certified radiologist to join their team at Hillsboro Medical Center (HMC). This is a direct hospital-employed position within the Community Division of OHSU at HMC, offering a private practice-style environment with academic health system benefits. The role involves covering one hospital and one imaging center in Hillsboro, with a case mix representative of a suburban community-based radiology practice. Specialized modality cases are read by sub-specialty trained members, and a separate IR service handles interventional procedures. The position emphasizes a collegial environment, high-quality patient care, and excellent work-life balance.

Requirements

  • Experience reading all radiology modalities (CT, US, MRI)
  • Experience with light general radiology procedures such as CT- and ultrasound-guided drainages/biopsies, arthrograms/joint injections, and breast biopsies
  • ABR Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
  • Eligible to practice in Oregon
  • International Medical Graduates encouraged to apply if they also hold: Valid ECFMG certification or ABR Board Certified or Board Eligible through the ABR IMG Alternate Pathway Program
  • Candidates at all levels of practice including those currently undertaking residency or fellowship training are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Read radiology modalities including CT, US, and MRI.
  • Perform light general radiology procedures such as CT- and ultrasound-guided drainages/biopsies, arthrograms/joint injections, and breast biopsies.
  • Cover one hospital and one imaging center in Hillsboro.
  • Participate in a shift-based practice with equitable distribution of all shift types.
  • Share call duties equally among the group, prorated for FTE.
