Day General Radiologist - Radiology Associates of Florida
About The Position
Radiology Associates of Florida (RAF) is seeking a General Radiologist to join its practice in Pensacola, Florida. The position serves Sacred Heart Hospital and splits time between inpatient and outpatient settings. Sacred Heart is a 560+ bed hospital, the flagship Ascension hospital in the Florida Panhandle, a Level III trauma center, and the region’s only Pediatric Trauma Referral Center. J-1 visa waiver candidates can be supported. The schedule is either Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, or seven days on/seven days off. Partners have a low volume of weekend shifts, approximately 12 weekend days per year. Work includes a mix of onsite shifts at Sacred Heart Hospital and remote shifts. The role may be an associate position or offer partnership-track eligibility. Internal moonlighting opportunities are available, with flexibility in how much to read. RAF is a quality-oriented, locally and democratically led practice serving established health systems across Florida. Its technology includes universal PACS, AI tools, integrated physician communication tools, and MosaicOS, a cloud-based, AI-native imaging platform. Mosaic Reporting uses ambient AI and large language models to structure reports from natural dictation. The practice also supports collaboration, subspecialty-level interpretations, and medical education.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
- Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
- Medical license in Florida or the ability to obtain one.

- Fellowship training is a plus but is not required.
Responsibilities
- Interpret general radiology studies serving Sacred Heart Hospital across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Work a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. EST, or seven days on/seven days off.
- Cover a low volume of weekend shifts as a partner, approximately 12 weekend days per year.
- Work a combination of onsite shifts at Sacred Heart Hospital and remote shifts.
- Participate in internal moonlighting opportunities if desired.
