Radiology Associates of Florida (RAF) is seeking a fellowship-trained Musculoskeletal Radiologist to join its growing practice in Sarasota, Florida. The position offers a high percentage of musculoskeletal imaging, with an approximately 80% musculoskeletal case mix and the remainder consisting of general diagnostic studies. The radiologist will interpret diagnostic imaging and provide clinical consultations in collaboration with a seasoned group of subspecialists. Procedures are not required; support is available for radiologists who wish to maintain procedural proficiency. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with low-volume weekend coverage averaging 12 weekend days per year, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The position also provides access to RAF’s internal moonlighting program, where additional remote shifts can be worked without a commitment. The posting identifies the work location as hybrid and specifies Sarasota, Florida. RAF supports a growing healthcare network anchored by Sarasota Memorial Hospital, a regional referral center and teaching hospital. The network includes the 897-bed Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, Sarasota Memorial Hospital–Venice, and a 100-bed North Port campus planned to open in Fall 2028. Intercoastal Medical Group Imaging provides a range of imaging services, including nuclear medicine and PET/CT. Sarasota Memorial offers inpatient and outpatient imaging services, including MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, X-rays, nuclear medicine, stress testing, and interventional radiology. The hospital is designated a Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center and has received a five-star CMS rating. Radiology Associates of Florida is described as Florida’s largest radiology practice, serving established health systems across the state. The practice emphasizes quality, subspecialty-level interpretation, collaboration, and consultation. Its technology includes universal PACS, AI tools, and integrated physician communication tools. The practice is locally and democratically led and supports medical education through affiliations with the University of South Florida Department of Radiology and Florida State University College of Medicine. The position offers 10 weeks of PTO for partners. Compensation is listed at $500,000–$1,000,000, with final compensation dependent on factors such as education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. The role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The total rewards package includes health and wellness coverage options, 401(k) benefits, family planning, and telehealth, subject to eligibility requirements.
