About The Position

General Production will be responsible for learning and performing various tasks and rotating to different positions as needed. The schedule is Monday-Fridays; Start time is 3:00 PM (Mid-March-September 1st) and 2:00 PM September-Mid-March, with a varying end time. Occasionally changes to work schedule may occur due to production or training needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Team player attitude and willingness to fill in as needed.
  • Positive communication with others and timely reporting of concerns and questions.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry occasionally up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and follow all MGK HACCP, SQF, SOP, and SSOP programs.
  • Comply with all Food Safety procedures.
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Learn and perform various tasks and rotate to different positions as needed in the following areas: Cabbage Line, Veggies, Potato Room, Dishes, Other areas in the plant as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
