About The Position

Pratt Industries is hiring full-time, year-round Production Workers for a growing manufacturing company. Production Workers help turn recycled paper into sheets of corrugated board and prepare the product for customers. The position is in a state-of-the-art, fast-paced environment and offers a base pay of $18.15 plus a shift differential. Benefits become available on an accelerated schedule: paid holidays from the first day, insurance benefits and a wellness reimbursement program within one month, a 401(k) with match after three months, paid vacation after six months, and full tuition reimbursement plus paid childbearing and parenting leave after 12 months. The role involves regular standing, walking, talking, and hearing; frequent hand use and reaching; and the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employees regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds with assistance. The work environment includes moving mechanical parts, wet, hot, or humid conditions, and usually loud noise. Occasional exposures include high or precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration.

Requirements

Strong desire to learn and grow in a state-of-the-art, fast-paced environment.
Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
Able to apply concepts of high school math.
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Ability to stand, walk, talk, and hear regularly; use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms frequently; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
