About The Position
This position is responsible for entry-level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Certain roles at Tyson require background checks. Requirements
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must wear PPE, frocks, gloves, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard.
Responsibilities
- Push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50 pounds for some positions.
- Work in damp, cold or hot environments.
- Reach above shoulder level.
- Stand 8-10 hours a day on hard surfaces.
- Perform repetitive motion.
- Climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas.
- Wear PPE, frocks, gloves, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard.
- Use of a knife and or scissors to bone out or trim pieces of product.
- Use of powered equipment such as saws or skinner machines.
