About The Position
This position is responsible for entry-level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. These positions could work in any department of the processing facility. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Tyson is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements
- Must be willing to work overtime, some weekends and holidays as Production requires.
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to push, pull, carry, or lift 50+ pounds.
- Ability to work in damp cold or damp hot environments.
- Ability to use hands and arms above shoulder level.
- Ability to stand 8 to 10 hours a day.
- Ability to climb up and down stairs.
- Must wear PPE, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard.
- 365 days wait period from last termination date.
- Candidates that have worked for Tyson Foods or Tyson Affiliates 3 or more times will not be eligible for rehire (3X rule).
