About The Position

This is an entry-level, non-skilled general labor position at the Waterloo Pork Plant. The role involves processing pork and handling products while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures. Work environments are wet and humid, with temperatures ranging from 35 to over 90 degrees. Requirements

• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Work may involve climbing ladders; working from elevated platforms; bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching; standing and walking on hard floors; and occasional lifting of up to 61 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform light to medium knife work to process pork.
• Handle and process products.
• Bag and box products.
• Inspect and sort products.
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures.
