About The Position

Heavy Skilled Operatives at Tyson Fresh Meats’ Waterloo Pork Plant operate machinery and perform heavy lifting to maintain production flow while working safely and following Tyson policies and procedures. The work involves processing pork using saws, skinners, and other equipment; handling and palletizing boxes; and moving product with powered industrial trucks or forklifts. Work may take place in rendering areas that are dirty. The position requires a phone interview, and rehires are not being accepted.

Requirements

At least 1 month of experience operating heavy machinery.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must complete a phone interview.

Responsibilities

Operate machinery to maintain production flow.
Operate saws, skinners, and other equipment to process pork.
Handle boxes and palletize product.
Operate powered industrial trucks or forklifts to move product.
Perform heavy lifting while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
