About The Position

This role is responsible for all production operations at the facility. This includes managing all production supervisors' departments, production schedules, product rotation, CCP verification schedules, and overseeing the safety committee. The role also includes the responsibility to review team members in these roles and develop and improve in any deficient areas. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory role or 2+ years of Tyson supervisory experience.
Basic computer skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Able to communicate with all levels of management.
Team leadership skills.
Problem-solving skills.
Motivation to take on special projects.
Must be able to access all areas of the production floor to conduct audits and inspections using fixed ladders, stairs, steps, etc.
Able to tolerate environmental conditions in the area of responsibility (temperature ranges from 28°-45° Fahrenheit).
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with processing floor operations preferred.
HACCP certification and a basic understanding of HACCP principals and the ability to perform CCP monitoring verification preferred.
Knowledge of fresh meats processing preferred.
