(USA) General Production Associate, Manufacturing (Starting $20.80, Mon - Fri 4:30pm to 12:30am)
About The Position
Operates and monitors production equipment by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Ensures all paperwork is accurate, and documents and records production and quality information. Operates and troubleshoots state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and systems using automated and manual controls. Communicates problems or concerns to management and supports continuous improvement initiatives by maintaining process data and equipment performance data to improve quality and throughput. Operates and cleans equipment to maximize throughput and minimize downtime, and communicates mechanical and operational issues. Operates equipment at recommended speeds and monitors products to ensure quality standards and efficiency targets are met. Adheres to all safety procedures and guidelines, including using required personal protective equipment (PPE), operating machinery and equipment safely, and reporting hazards, near misses, injuries, and accidents. Actively participates in safety trainings and drills, maintains cleanliness in work areas to prevent accidents, and contributes to continuous improvement of safety protocols. Maintains awareness of surroundings to ensure personal safety and the safety of others. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carrying out tasks and communicating progress/information, and determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities. Requirements
- Manufacturing or production environment.
- Working with hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements.
