As a General Operator, you will help deliver world-class products to customers that have trusted the Lincoln Electric brand for decades. By operating large wire production lines, you will help continue to drive a legacy of proven and trusted products that will help build the world’s bridges, skyscrapers, energy pipelines, and more for decades to come.

• Requires lifting heavy components on a regular basis, including continuous use of hands including grasping, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Performs general labor tasks involved in operating large wire production lines, or in assisting and supplying wire production lines and/or other product components.
• Perform quality checks on all assigned work.
• Perform occasional troubleshooting.
• Work collaboratively with computer-controlled equipment that requires mechanical aptitude and spatial ability.
• Strictly adheres to quality standards and frequently reads and follows written work instructions and production specifications (e.g., scales, dials or gauges, charts or tables).
• Understanding, following and enforcing all risk reduction procedures including wearing specified protective clothing and safety equipment where required.
