Requirements

  • Heavy lifting is required on a regular basis.
  • Mechanical and spatial ability.
  • Ability to use hands for grasping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions and production specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general labor tasks for the production and packaging in our electrode department, including placing components or finished products in appropriate bins, mixers, presses or other machinery.
  • Complete proper labeling and other paperwork related to production.
  • Perform quality checks on all assigned work.
  • Work with heavy machinery or components designed for mixing and packaging of electrode products.
  • Use hands for grasping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Work collaboratively with computer-controlled equipment that requires mechanical and spatial ability.
  • Use conveyors or other equipment for sorting, counting, or product inspection.
  • Perform occasional problem solving or troubleshooting.
  • Strictly adhere to quality standards.
  • Frequently read and follow written work instructions and production specifications (e.g., scales, dials or gauges, charts or tables).
  • Understand, follow and enforce all risk reduction procedures including wearing specified protective clothing and safety equipment where required.
