About The Position

Compiles and maintains records of business transactions and office activities of establishment by performing the following duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other Team Members of the organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Blue Lake Rancheria Tribal Gaming License.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer candidate with one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Scans TITO and other documents before shredding.
  • Data entry involving correcting errors on scanned tickets as needed.
  • Copies data and compiles records and reports.
  • Writes, types, or enters information into computer.
  • Proofreads records or forms.
  • Sorts and files records.
  • Shreds confidential documents after scanning electronically.
  • Prepares stock inventory for office supplies.
  • Address’s envelopes or packages.
  • Stuffs envelopes by hand or with envelope stuffing machine.
  • Operates computer terminal to input and retrieve data.
  • Operates office machines such as typewriter, adding machines and copiers.
  • Answers telephone, takes messages and delivers them.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • To provide a safe work environment for Team Members, through compliance with established safety guidelines, identifying potential safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate person for proper resolution.
  • To maintain a professional departmental, company and community reputation.
  • To enforce performance standards, policies and procedures as they relate to the department.
  • To maintain a consistent, regular attendance record.
