About The Position

This is a 1.0 FTE non-continuing leave replacement position for a General Music Teacher at Spruce Elementary for the 2026-27 school year ONLY. It serves students participating in the Edmonds School District Dual Language Program, a Spanish-English bilingual model designed to develop bilingualism, biliteracy, and grade-level academic achievement for all students. SIOP training and GLAD training offered by the Multilingual Education Department will be required for all new employees unless they can show evidence of having completed SIOP and GLAD training previously. Training will need to be completed within the first year of employment.

Requirements

  • Washington State Teaching Certificate with a Music endorsement, or the ability to obtain one prior to the position start date.
