About The Position

We are seeking a skilled General Manufacturing Press Machine Set Up and Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press machinery, monitoring production runs for accuracy and consistency, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. You will also perform cleaning and some maintenance on the machinery. This position requires strong mathematical and mechanical skills, the ability to use specialized measurement tools, and a solid understanding of quality standards and technical drawings. Collaboration with other departments and accurate documentation are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Multitasking, attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
Experience with quality standards, expectations and understanding of calibrated equipment.
Experience with measurement tools including scales, gages and micrometers.
Basic knowledge of technical drawings and prints.
Must be able to lift at least 25lbs.
Must be able to handle very small parts sometimes measuring less than 1mm.

Responsibilities

Preparations of reports, inspection findings, documenting outcomes and some filing.
