General Manufacturing Laborer - 1st Shift
About The Position
Keystone Industries is seeking a General Manufacturing Laborer for their 1st shift operations in Myerstown, PA. This role is responsible for producing quality medical device and non-medical device products by assembling, processing, testing, packing, labeling, and repairing products according to company procedures and regulatory standards. The position requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) in accordance with FDA and ISO regulations. Employees are expected to maintain a clean and orderly work area, follow all safety procedures including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements
- Must be able to speak, write and read English.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy to ensure product quality is maintained throughout the process.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Where applicable, must have mechanical ability and knowledge in the operation of machinery.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.
- Only trained and qualified employees are permitted to operate equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, process, test, pack, label and repair product manufactured in your assigned department.
- Produce quality products consistent with the manufacturing, inspection and testing procedure of the company.
- Maintain current Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices in accordance with FDA and ISO regulations.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the company as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area on a daily basis.
- Follow all company procedures relating to safety, including wearing required PPE such as face mask, gloves, etc.
