About The Position

The General Manager position at Domino's Pizza is a leadership role responsible for all aspects of a shift, including cost controls, inventory, cash management, and customer relations. General Managers are expected to set an example by adhering to all company policies and procedures and ensuring their crew does the same. Requirements

  • Possess good judgment, math skills, and the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to communicate and interact respectfully and effectively with people across cultures, abilities, genders, ethnicities, and races.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Possess verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Demonstrate motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and accurate precise movements.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
  • Must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
  • Completion of all evaluations up to Manager in Training before becoming manager of a store location.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations during a shift.
  • Set an example by following all company policies and procedures 100% of the time and ensuring the crew does the same.
  • Handle staffing and paperwork.
  • Manage food and work to a schedule.
  • Maintain perfect image and adherence to standards.
  • Provide great customer service.
  • Ensure attendance & punctuality.
  • Arrange transportation to/from work.
  • Maintain store cleanliness.
  • Engage in marketing activities.
  • Ensure profitability.
  • Operate all store equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility daily.
  • Direct activities and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Work alone and with others, including under stress.
  • Meet strict quality control standards.
  • Deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.
  • Be willing to perform any job that needs to be done.
