This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning the equipment and facility. Training is provided on the job. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, and using computer systems or touch screens for order entry. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, fluctuating in-store temperatures, food odors, dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, and occasional climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, and squatting. Reaching is performed continuously, and hand tasks requiring eye-hand coordination are essential, including forceful use of forearms and wrists for tasks like shaping pizza dough. Team members may also be required to utilize various tools and equipment such as pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role includes delivering products by car and to the customer's door, as well as delivering marketing materials. This requires a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle. Essential skills for delivery include navigational abilities to read maps and locate addresses, and the ability to navigate adverse terrain and multi-story buildings while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying pizzas and sides, driving, walking to and from the vehicle and customer locations, and potentially climbing multiple flights of stairs. Work conditions for delivery involve exposure to varying weather conditions.
