About The Position

This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning the equipment and facility. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills, including the ability to comprehend and give written instructions, and to verbally communicate with customers and co-workers. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, and using computer systems or touch screens for order entry. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, fluctuating in-store temperatures, food odors, dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, and occasional climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, and squatting. Reaching is performed continuously, and hand tasks requiring eye-hand coordination are essential, including forceful use of forearms and wrists for tasks like shaping pizza dough. Team members may also be required to utilize various tools and equipment such as pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role includes delivering products by car and to the customer's door, as well as delivering marketing materials. This requires a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle. Essential skills for delivery include navigational abilities to read maps and locate addresses, and the ability to navigate adverse terrain and multi-story buildings while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying pizzas and sides, driving, walking to and from the vehicle and customer locations, and potentially climbing multiple flights of stairs. Work conditions for delivery involve exposure to varying weather conditions.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
