This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and receiving/processing telephone orders. The position requires taking inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. Training is provided on the job. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, effective verbal and written communication for order processing, and strong motor coordination for precise movements. The role also requires entering orders via computer keyboard or touch screen. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, in-store temperature fluctuations, food odors, dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments needed include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking short distances, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting cases up to 60 pounds, carrying items like pizza sauce (30 lbs) and dough trays (12 lbs each), pushing/pulling trays on dollies, infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders, stooping/bending at the waist, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching (up, down, forward). Hand tasks are continuous and require eye-hand coordination, including forceful use of forearms and wrists for dough shaping, manipulating pizza peels and cutters, and pinching for box assembly. Tools and equipment may include pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. A key responsibility is delivering product by car to the customer's door, as well as delivering marketing materials. This requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, and navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within a designated delivery area. Delivery personnel must navigate various terrains, including multi-story buildings, while carrying product. Physical demands during delivery include carrying product, driving within a designated area, walking to and from the vehicle, and potentially climbing multiple flights of stairs. Work conditions during delivery include exposure to varying weather conditions.
