About The Position

Happy Daz is seeking an experienced General Manager to own the restaurant’s results, build and develop a strong team, and ensure guests have a great experience whether dining inside or using the drive-thru. The role offers accountability, leadership support, and hours with no late nights. This is a full-time, salaried position.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of management experience; restaurant or quick-service experience is preferred.
• Experience leading a diverse team and training and mentoring team members.
• Food safety knowledge or certification.
• Open availability and flexibility with a changing schedule.
• A strong record of attendance and reliability.
• An upbeat, positive attitude and close attention to detail.
• Clear communication with hourly team members and other managers.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Restaurant or quick-service management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations, including scheduling, inventory, ordering, cost control, and hiring.
• Coach and develop Assistant Managers and Supervisors on guest service, drive-thru times, labor, and food cost.
• Oversee crew training and cross-training to build a consistent team.
• Maintain a safe, clean restaurant that complies with health department and food safety rules.
• Hold the team accountable to company standards and handle discipline fairly when needed.
• Build relationships with guests and resolve concerns with a guest-first approach.
• Provide crew members with regular feedback, recognition, and performance evaluations.
• Keep the team informed through shift recaps, HotSchedules, and store meetings, and participate in management meetings.
• Lead by example and help wherever the restaurant needs support.
