About The Position

Swiss Chalet is hiring a General Manager at our Richmond Hill location! Since our doors first opened in 1954, families have been coming back to Swiss Chalet generation after generation. We are looking for individuals that are passionate about hospitality, food, training and are people focused. Requirements

• Minimum 2 years hospitality industry experience in a leadership role
• Ability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays in a busy fast paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality or Business Management (asset but not necessary)
• Proven success with both people development in leadership positions and long-term sales growth
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to build presence in the community
• Proven personal commitment to professional development is an asset

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the restaurant
• Accountable for financials and KPI's in partnership with the corporate management team
• Effectively run both front and back of the house and lead all shifts to Brand standard
• Ensure the store is operating to all standards of a "Benchmark Restaurant", and creating a Perfect Guest Experience every time
• Continue to develop and coach associates
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Recipe's principles
