About The Position

The General Manager operates equipment and performs a range of food preparation, order processing, inventory, cleaning, and delivery duties. The role involves receiving and processing telephone orders, handling customer orders in person, and delivering products and promotional materials within a designated delivery area. The position requires accurate basic arithmetic, communication and computer-entry skills, precise motor coordination, and the ability to navigate to delivery locations and carry products across varied terrain.

Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying product.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Deliver products by car and to customers' doors.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate to addresses within the designated delivery area.
