About The Position
The General Manager operates equipment; stocks ingredients from delivery areas in storage spaces, work areas, and walk-in coolers; prepares products; receives and processes telephone orders; takes inventory and completes related paperwork; and cleans equipment and the facility approximately daily. The role also involves delivering products by car to customers’ doors, distributing flyers and door hangers, and navigating the designated delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings while carrying products. The position requires accurate and rapid basic arithmetic, making correct monetary change, and verbal, written, and telephone communication skills. The employee must coordinate eye, hand, and finger movements to make precise movements quickly, enter orders by computer keyboard or touch screen, understand and give written instructions, and communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain while carrying products.
